Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA) Disinfectant Tablets
TCCA 90 is a high-quality trichloroisocyanuric acid in 20 and 200-g tablets, with an available active chlorine content of 90%. Water treatment tablets such as these are suitable for disinfection/treatment of all types of water, but especially for hard water due to their neutral pH effect.
TCCA 90% is an excellent source of chlorine for the control of biofouling in swimming pools, industrial water systems, and cooling water systems. TCCA 90% has been proven to be a better and more economical alternative to bleaching powder and sodium hypochlorite for all kinds of chlorination applications.
After hydrolysis in water, TCCA 90% will be converted to Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL), which has strong microbial activity. The hydrolysis by-product, cyanuric acid, acts as a stabilizer and prevents the conversion of hypochlorous acid into hypochlorite ion (OCL-) owing to sunshine and heat, which has low microbial activity.

This is possible because it is very safe when it comes in contact with the body and also when consumed with drinking water. It also helps with algae removal from industrial water supplies and the treatment of industrial or city sewage. Other uses included disinfection of petroleum well drilling slurry and sewage as well as the production of seawater cells.
